Greg MacPherson spends his days protecting computer systems, evangelizing and implementing computer security, and striving to improve the information security situation in an environment full of competent adversaries and skeptical business people. Greg is a vocal advocate for greater security visibility and a regular advisor to industry leaders, legislators, and policy makers. Formerly known as Evil Wrangler, Greg was a member of the infamous hacker group Dis Org Crew (DoC).

Greg holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science from Clemson University and several industry certifications that require constant CPE updates to justify their continued membership. He has written for publications such as "2600" and "Phrack" and has spoken in venues as diverse as the annual DEF CON Security conference and NASA Goddard Space Flight Center. Greg currently works for a major telecommunications company.
