Ken Vanderpool helps organizations make identity and cybersecurity easier to understand, easier to manage, and stronger in practice. As Identity & Access Management Manager at Vetcor, he works closely with technical teams, business leaders, and end users to strengthen identity governance, modernize access controls, and build IAM processes that are scalable, repeatable, and practical. His work includes Microsoft Entra governance, privileged access, multifactor authentication, identity lifecycle management, access reviews, security-group strategy, identity automation, and enterprise application access.

Ken also supports broader cybersecurity efforts, including vulnerability management, email protection, security assessments, and long-term security planning. He is known for turning complex security needs into clear priorities, bringing the right people together, and helping teams move from strategy to real progress. In every initiative, he focuses on solutions that protect the organization while still being sustainable for operations and thoughtful for the people who use them.

Before joining Vetcor, Ken served as a Cybersecurity Program Manager at Hillenbrand and built nearly a decade of leadership experience in the United States Air Force across cybersecurity management, network security, IT project management, and Agile product management. That experience shaped his practical, mission-focused approach to security—balancing risk, usability, and execution while keeping teams aligned around the work that matters most.

Ken is driven by the opportunity to build strong teams, improve security culture, and help organizations turn good ideas into measurable action. He holds a Master of Science in Cybersecurity from Liberty University and a bachelor’s degree from Colorado State University Global.
