Chris Maenner is the Head of Product Security at Ybor Technology, working in partnership with Ashley Furniture Industries to embed robust security practices into innovative product development. With a deep background in cloud architecture and a passion for automation, he has helped numerous startups enhance their security posture through scalable, cloud-native solutions.

In addition to his role at Ybor, Chris is the founder of Palmtree Ventures, a consultancy that delivers integrated security services across enterprise, platform, and product domains. Palmtree Ventures supports growing organizations in navigating challenges such as rapid scale, regulatory complexity, and distributed workforces by providing end-to-end security solutions—from identity and development to cloud and infrastructure protection.

Chris also supports BSidesPhilly and DEF CON Blue Team Village, where he actively contributes to the growth and education of the cybersecurity community.
