Gary grew up on a row-crop farm in northwest Iowa, which he still owns and operates with his brothers today. He’s focused his career on how Technology can add value to Ag.

Gary spent the majority of his career working for Cargill, Incorporated in multiple businesses and technology leadership positions. His main areas of focus at Cargill were in their Grain & Oilseeds Processing, Ag Retail and Animal Nutrition businesses. Gary retired from Cargill in 2018.

Gary currently works for Land O’Lakes as a Director in their Ag Retail IT Solutions Team. He has been in that position for seven years. In this role, Gary works directly with Land O’Lakes Ag Retail and Cooperative member owners to help develop and strengthen their critical Technology and IT capabilities, including cybersecurity and data privacy.
