John Amaral is the Head of Product for Cisco Cloud Security. In this role, he is responsible for product management, planning and strategy for Cisco's leading cloud security offerings including Cisco Umbrella and Cisco Cloudlock. John joined Cisco through the acquisition of Cloudlock, where he was Head of Product; responsible for product development, product management, operations, and customer success. Prior to Cloudlock, he was Senior Vice President of Product Management at Trustwave. John has more than 20 years of experience as a product development executive and chief technologist at industry leading information security and networking firms. He is a thought leader and expert in information and cloud security, SaaS and networking. John earned an MBA from MIT Sloan and a BS in Electrical and Computer Engineering from the University of Massachusetts. John has been awarded
three US patents.
