He works closely with security and engineering leaders to address complex application security challenges, helping organizations align their security strategies with technical requirements and business objectives.

At Checkmarx, Ryan combines hands-on technical expertise with a strategic perspective on application security, contributing to solution engineering strategy, technical enablement, and competitive positioning. He collaborates across engineering, product management, and customer-facing teams to translate emerging security challenges and evolving technologies into practical, actionable solutions.

Prior to Checkmarx, Ryan held a leadership role at a cybersecurity consulting firm specializing in penetration testing, red teaming, and adversarial simulation. His experience also spans vulnerability management, security program assessment and development, and regulatory compliance. He holds a graduate degree in Information Security from the Georgia Institute of Technology.
